Community Healthcare are seeking GPs join our New Multi Site Clinic in the Beautifull Hunter Valley due to open in Mid 2021.

GPs can benefit from attractive salary packaging with remuneration equivalent to 70% billings or higher. 

Cessnock is the gateway to Pokolbin and the Wine Region.   This year's Wotif Aussie Town of the Year Awards has recognised Pokolbin as the top destination in NSW as well a naming it as the second best destination in Australia!!

Community Healthcare is a unique, not for profit bulk billing general practice delivering quality care using a multi-disciplinary primary health care team.  We operate two clinics in lower Hunter Valley, one in Cessnock and one in Kurri Kurri. GPs are well supported by a team of Nurses and Allied Health Professionals work to provide comprehensive care for our patients,

Cessnock is an a RA2 and MM3 area

 

 

 

Essentials Description

MBBS or equivalent - preference will be afforded to a FRACGP

Current unencumbered Registration with AHPRA

Assessed and approved previous experience in general practice medicine

Must hold current drivers licence

Must hold current immigration visa with full work rights

Must participate in continuing professional development (CPD) as required by RACGP

Must have current CPR certificate

 Position Scope

  • Provision of a comprehensive range of general practice clinical services.
  • Participation in teaching of medical students and GP Trainees
  • Contribution to development of protocols of care which will enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Paritcipation in active management of patient recall and monitoring systems,
  • Commitment to best practice care.

 

 

 

 

 

 

To consult with other health professionals – nurses, specialists, colleagues

 

To provide ongoing education, participate in health promotion, conduct research, assist in training of colleagues and other health professionals

 

  To perform duties required of a general practitioner 

Description of Facilities

The Kurri Kurri practice is a purpose built facility that has been operating now for over 5 years.  It offers a layout that facilitates comprehensive multi-disciplinary care.  Our Cessnock clinic will move into our Brand New Multi site facility in Mid 2021 of the larger scale to Kurri Kurri
