Position Description

We are seeking Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists, Social Workers and Psychiatrists to work as Independent Contractors with Psychological Health and Wellbeing Services (PHaWS) in the Belmont practice. We are developing a team of clinicians who are experienced and skilled in assessing, formulating and using evidence based interventions to treat common mental health disorders, loss and grief, trauma and stress related disorders across the lifespan. In addition, we are seeking clinicians who have enhanced skills working with people living with disordered eating or co-morbid physical and mental health conditions.

Essentials Description
  • Registration with Professional Organisation
  • Medicare Provider number
  • All relevant safety checks completed, ie wwcc
  • An ABN
  • Contemporary experience delivering clinical services within your profession to people with common mental health disorders
  • Receiving clinical supervision
  • Ability to develop professional relationships with referrers
  • Good report writing skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent work ethic and conduct




Desirables Description
  • Registered (or willing to register) to provide services to clients referred via Workers Compensation, Victims of Crime Services, EAP and Private Health Insurers
  • Experience working in private practice
  • Available a minimum of 8 hours and upto 30 hours per week
  • Experience providing group therapy
  • Experience delivering therapeutc interventions to people with co-morbid mental and physical health issues
  • Experience delivering theraeutic interventions to people with an Eating Disorder
