Position Description

We are currently seeking an Experienced Medical Receptionist for an immediate start. Casual position up to 20 hours per week.

Position requires but not limited to:

  • Welcome patients into the Practice in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • To deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments.
  • Collect and enter patient details.
  • Answer phone calls and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Excellent communications skills with a positive and friendly manner
  • General administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, mail sorting, filing and follow up patient enquiries.
  • Workers Compensation billing and processing of payments.
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • This position requires the applicant to be flexible with availability
Essentials Description

Skills Required:

  • Proficient computer skills- Knowledge of Best Practice
  • Previous experience required
  • A high level of confidentiality and professional ethics
  • A team player attitude is essential


Desirables Description
  • Knowledge regarding SIPS and PIPS
  • Proda Experience
  • Be prepared to commit to a long term employment arrangement
