Position Description

Casual bookkeeper for approx one day per week and leave relief.  This position will be reviewed in the new financial year.

 

Essentials Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The bookkeeper will be accountable for:

·         Providing exemplary book keeping and accounts management using Xero

·         Providing accurate payroll services

·         Communicating effectively account activities

·         Relieving the accounts and HR Manager as required

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS and ATTRIBUTES

·       Highly developed book keeping skills ensuring accounts are captured, reconciled and paid in a timely manner

§  Highly developed communication skills including verbal, written, reporting and spreadsheets

§  Analytical approach to business management

§  Ability to work under pressure with a high level of accuracy

§  Ability to work effectively in a team environment

§  Compliance with Code of Conduct, Privacy and other relevant legislation

ABOUT OUR GENERAL PRACTICE:

Community Healthcare is a not for profit organisation operating from two sites in Cessnock and Kurri Kurri. Community Healthcare employs, subcontracts and engages with General Practitioners and Registrars, General Practice Nurses (both Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses), allied health professionals and administration staff.
