Position Description

To provide competent, patient-centred culturally appropriate holistic care that addresses individual health needs, promotes wellness that focuses on the prevention, early detection and management of health problems for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Such care is based on latest evidence and guidelines, and meets Legislation/Accreditation requirements.


Essentials Description

AHPRA-registered General Practitioner with VR status, unrestricted Previous Australian

general practice experience

 A commitment to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

 Current medical indemnity and CPR certificate

Desirables Description

Previous experience working in Aboriginal health

Description of Facilities

We have a vibrant clinic in Wyong with 12 consult rooms along with our outreach clinic in Gosford behind the hospital with 2 clinic rooms

that stretch from the Hawkesbury to the south and the southern suburbs of Newcastle. Whilst the
