Swansea Medical Centre is seeking an Enrolled Nurse (EN) for a casual position 2-3 days per week. The position is primarily to focus on performing patient Health Assessments either in the patient's home or in the surgery. The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a team which focuses on the provision of high quality care and preventative health.
Current Nursing registration and a Working With Children Check. A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide quality care and outcomes to our patients requiring a Health Assessment. This would include those patients >75 years of age, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients or those aged 40-49. While experience in General Practice is preferred it is not essential as we would provide training for the right candidate.
Previous experience in General Practice will be highly regarded. Experience with Best Practice software.
We are a large accredited Practice consisting of a team of highly motivated health professionals committed to providing high quality care. We have 8 GP's, 3 RN's and a highly supportive team of excellent receptionists. There are 2 dedicated treatment rooms and 1 nurse consult room which is used primarily for Chronic Disease Management. There is an onsite Pathology service and a dietician.
Position is based on the Nurses Award conditions for an EN. Pay rate is above award and will be negotiated according to the level of experience and skills applicable to our Practice.
