Our practice is seeking a professional, experienced, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to join our friendly team at Medowie Medical Centre and fill the role of a medical receptionist.

Duties include

• Attending calls and booking patients
• Patient results/recalls/invoices and receipts
• Patient records and maintenance
• Invoicing and receipting patient payments and general office duties

Skills required for this position/ Selection criteria

• Knowledge of Best Practice software and confident IT skills. 
• Excellent customer service and effective time management
• Enthusiasm to work in patient-centred environment and eagerness to learn
• Skills in answering telephone calls in a courteous manner, booking appointments, service to patients.
• Professional, well-presented and pleasant in the way they approach others.
• Punctual, reliable and flexible regarding working hours
• Availability to cover sick leave and holiday cover
• Must be able to provide working with children check (WWCC), police check and CPR certificate if successful
• Must have reliable transport

Experience 

Medical Receptionist: over 1 year (Preferred)
