Medical Practice Assistants are members of the health care team who are formally trained to provide administrative and clinical assistance to health practitioners working in ambulatory care settings.
Medical Assistants are trained to be flexible team members, able to cover front desk duties as well as perfom a wide range of common treatment room procedures.
Preference is given to applicants that are eligible for the JobMaker Hiring Credit scheme, see below criteria:
you will be required to undertake Formal Training to obtain the Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting HLT47715, you will be supported and mentored through this course by our Team. Assistance with applying for a HealthWorkfore Scholarship will be provided.
Acitive Listenting Skills, Honesty, Ambition and a strong work ethic.
Be adaptable to change in your daily work routine.
Have a williness to learn new tasks including upskilling within Medical and Clinical areas with the ability to follow directions.
Previous experince in a GP practice, using Best Practice software.
Community Healthcare is a non-for-profit organisation that operates 2 Clinics, 1 in Cessnock and 1 in Kurri Kurri. Our Cessnock clinic will be relocating to a brand new purpose built facility later in 2021 and our Kurri Kurri Clinici is 5 years old, each clinic has dedicated staff facilities.
